Frequently asked questions

What is a Nutrition Coach?

A nutrition coach is an individual that works with clients to help them achieve their nutrition and health goals by personalized programs and accountability. A nutrition coach may not necessarily be a nutritionist or licensed dietitian. It is important to note that a nutrition coach does not replace a medical physician, and a nutrition coach does not cure, treat, or diagnose any medical conditions.

How does nutrition coaching work?

The client will first complete an initial consultation with the nutrition coach to determine nutrition goals and to identify nutritional habits. Based on this assessment, the nutrition coach will recommend a nutrition coaching plan. Once the client purchases a plan, he/she will get access to a coaching platform where coaching will take place. Through this coaching platform the nutrition coach and client will be able to perform check-ins and keep in contact throughout the coaching contract.

Do I need to live locally to participate in nutrition coaching with Mere Nutrition?

No. Mere Nutrition works with clients from all over the world. Communication between the nutrition coach and the client will take place via a coaching platform where the nutrition coach and client will be able to message back and forth.
